Hello World, Hello Sap

I am excited to announce Sap is now officially in development!  Sap is an abstract turn-based sim where the player explores a bizarre ecology by playing cards onto a little grid.  The game takes plays over many turns, in each of which the player is dealt five random cards to try and further develop the world they've created.  Some cards are simple, such as a log.  Others are more complex, needing specific food sources or power to work.  Still other cards combine with neighbors to make new unique cards.  The game ends when the board is either completely empty or full.

I will routinely be posting these development logs as I go, with a short video showcasing any work (or frustration) I've experienced since the last.  As this is the "hello world" post of Sap's devlog, I don't have very much to show off - only that I have the project files set up in Unity.  I hope you'll follow along as I work on this odd game!

Awesome, hope to hear what you think along the way!  There will be at least one a week, but maybe more depending on how much free time I have.

"The game ends when the board is either completely empty or full." Interesting ! I like the little Conway's game of life vibe it has !

I'm big time inspired by various life sims include the classic game of life.  While it might be light for the demo release, there is still going to be an emphasis on sim in the background.
