Advent Update One!


Yeah yeah, I know.  This was supposed to drop yesterday.  I was feeling pretty awful so I had to push it to today. BUT HERE IT IS!

Advent Day One!

What is it?  It's environment cards, so that I could drop the least interesting thing first!  Although I have a ton of ideas, and some long term refinements penciled in - for the 1.0 build there will be ~11 environment type cards.  Some you've already seen, and some you haven't.  Here are a few of the new environment cards:

 

(Sand, Decay, Puddle)

As you might've guessed, there are combinations available with all of the basic environment cards.  I have plans to replace the way some of them work in the future, but for now they'll have simple effects.  Some things can only be grown near certain environments so there's also a kind of tech tree starting to form here.  Many of the living cards will be drawn toward or repulsed by certain biomes, so keep an eye out for possible ways to use this fact.

Hey, glad to hear it.  That I am, although I'm already wishing I had time to restart the whole thing.  I won't be doing that until I've at least gotten 1.0 into peoples hands though.  Hopefully you'll keep checking it out!
